Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. She was raised in Northern Virginia. She is the middle daughter from two siblings. Her sister in law raised her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in Laura Neri's production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate this performance, she received a nomination at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress. Her television guest-starring roles includes How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she was in the sci-fi action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's Primetime spinoff General Hospital. as she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care on Night Shift's second season.
